Privacy policy

Mow Quote app - Cerberus Software Australia PTY LTD

This privacy policy applies to the Mow Quote app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Cerberus Software Australia PTY LTD (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

Information collection and use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as:

• Your device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
• The time spent on the Application
• The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application may access precise device location only when you choose a location-based feature such as property measurement, job navigation or a spray application record. Location permission can be denied or revoked in your device settings. A location added to a saved cloud record is stored with that record; no-account local client and calendar records remain on the device.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

Website analytics

The Mow Quote website and web app use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and website performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects limited, aggregated usage and performance measurements and does not use cookies, collect or use visitors’ personal data, or track individual visitors across Cloudflare customers’ websites.

The public marketing website also uses the Google Ads conversion tag to measure whether an advertising visit leads to opening the Mow Quote web app or selecting the Apple App Store. Google may store an advertising click identifier in first-party browser storage or cookies so that the action can be attributed to the relevant advertisement. The tag does not receive client, quote, invoice, schedule or other content entered into Mow Quote.

We use these measurements to understand which pages and advertisements are useful, monitor website performance, and diagnose technical problems. Advertising-personalisation signals and Google Analytics audience imports are disabled. We do not use this measurement to build remarketing audiences or target advertising based on activity inside Mow Quote.

You can limit or block this browser storage using your browser’s privacy and cookie controls. Blocking it may prevent an advertising conversion from being measured.

Device-only clients and calendar jobs

Without signing in, you may save client contact and address details and local calendar jobs on the device. These records are stored locally, are not uploaded to Firebase, and do not sync or merge with cloud records when you later sign in.

You can edit or delete local clients in the Clients area and delete local calendar jobs in the Calendar area. Account deletion removes the associated authentication account and Firebase data, but it does not remove these separate device-only records. Remove them in the app or clear the app’s local storage from the device if you no longer want them retained.

Google Calendar integration

Data accessed

When you choose to integrate with Google Calendar, our application accesses the following Google user data:

• Calendar events: Read access to your calendar events to import existing schedules
• Calendar information: Basic calendar metadata (calendar names, event titles, dates, times)
• Event details: Event descriptions, locations, and scheduling information

Data usage

The Google Calendar data accessed by our application is used exclusively for:

• Business scheduling: Importing your existing lawn care appointment schedules
• Appointment management: Creating, updating, and organizing lawn care service appointments
• Schedule synchronization: Keeping your business calendar synchronized across devices
• Conflict prevention: Avoiding double-booking and scheduling conflicts
• Service coordination: Managing recurring lawn care services and maintenance schedules

We do not use your Google Calendar data for any other purposes, including advertising, marketing, or data analysis beyond what is necessary for our core business scheduling functionality.

Data sharing

We do not share your Google Calendar data with any third parties. Your calendar information remains private and is used solely within our application for the purposes described above. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise distribute your Google Calendar data to external parties.

Data storage and protection

Your Google Calendar data is:

• Securely transmitted: All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS)
• Minimally stored: We only store the calendar data necessary for our scheduling functionality
• Protected access: Data access is restricted to authenticated users only
• Regular backups: Your data is backed up securely to prevent loss
• Access controls: Strict access controls ensure only authorized personnel can access your data

Data retention and deletion

• Retention period: Google Calendar data is retained only as long as you actively use our application for scheduling purposes
• User control: You can revoke Google Calendar access at any time through your Google account settings
• Data deletion: Upon request or account deletion, all Google Calendar data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days
• Deletion request: To request deletion of your Google Calendar data, contact us at support@mow-quote.com

Accounting integrations

When you choose to connect an accounting provider, Mow Quote uses the provider’s secure authorization process. Supported providers are Intuit QuickBooks Online, Xero, and FreshBooks. You are not asked to provide Mow Quote with your accounting-provider password.

Data accessed and shared

To create or synchronize accounting records at your direction, the Application may exchange the following data with the provider you select:

• customer names, contact details, and business details;
• invoice line items, descriptions, quantities, rates, totals, dates, and payment status;
• tax codes or tax settings needed to create an accurate invoice; and
• provider account or organisation identifiers needed to send data to the correct account.

This data is used only to provide the accounting synchronization you request, maintain connection status, and diagnose integration errors. Mow Quote does not sell accounting data or use it for advertising.

Connection security and user control

Authorization tokens are handled through secured server-side services and are not displayed in the Application or exposed to other users. You can disconnect a provider in Mow Quote or revoke access through the provider. Disconnecting stops future synchronization but does not delete records already created in the provider’s system.

Third party access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-out rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

For Google Calendar integration, you can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings under “Connected apps” or by contacting us directly. Accounting integrations can be disconnected in Mow Quote or revoked through the connected provider.

Data retention policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at support@mow-quote.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (support@mow-quote.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-08-23.

Your consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.

Account and data deletion

Users who sign in with Google can request deletion of their account and associated data by emailing support@mow-quote.com.

When a deletion request is processed, the authentication account and user-specific Firebase data such as clients, quotes, invoices, schedules, and spray logs will be deleted. Backups may be retained for up to 30 days before permanent removal.

Device-only clients and calendar jobs are separate from the Firebase account and are not removed by an account deletion request. Delete them in the app or clear the app’s local storage on that device.
